Monasteries of Ladakh (7 Nights/8 Days)
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
After arrival at International Airport in Delhi, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will greet you and your family. Later you will be escorted to the hotel pre booked for you. In the afternoon, enjoy City Tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Qutab Minar, India Gate (War Memorial), Lakshmi Narayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple, drive past President's House, Parliament House and Secretariat Buildings. Also visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Leh
After hearty breakfast, you will be transferred in time to airport to connect flight for Leh. Upon arrival in Leh, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Complete day for the acclimatization which is 3500 meters above sea level. In the evening, have a short walk around Leh bazaar. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Leh
Full day excursion to the famous monasteries, it is interesting to visit early in the morning to enjoy the praying ceremony at Thiksey monastery. Continue drive to Hemis monastery, which is one of the most famous of the Ladakh region. On the way back visit to Shey Palace. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Leh
After hearty breakfast in the morning, visit Spituk and Phyang monastery. In the afternoon, visit by foot to Kings Palace, Leh Mosque, Leh Gompa, Shankar Gompa and Leh bazaar. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: Leh
Have a hearty breakfast and enjoy the full day excursion to Khardongla pass which is the highest motorable pass in the world 5600 meters and has been recorded in the Guniees Book of World Records. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountains. In the late afternoon return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06: Leh - Alchi
Have a hearty breakfast in the morning and leave for Alchi monastery known as Alchi Choskor is the only monastery in the Ladakh on flat ground. On the way visit Bazgo Castle lie on the right bank of the Indus valley. By the lunch time you reach Alchi. In the afternoon, visit the Alchi monastery and explore the nature beauty of Alchi village. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel/guest house.
Day 07:Alchi - Leh
Now the jurney starts back towards the Leh.In the late afternoon free for personal activities.Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 08: Leh – Delhi

Transfer to Leh airport to
board flight for New Delhi. Explore full day in busy
markets after farewell dinner transfer to Delhi
International Airport to board flight back to your
country.
